Isocom Optoswitches & Slotted Photointerrupters
Detect an object crossing a sensing slot with Isocom optoswitches for printers, copiers, and optoelectronic switching applications. These slotted photointerrupters pair an infrared LED with an NPN phototransistor across a 3 mm gap, providing a simple way to detect objects that block infrared light.
Choose the H21A series or ISTS200 when screw-mounting flanges suit your assembly, or the H22A series and ISTS100 for PCB mounting without flanges. Compare minimum on-state collector current to select the output sensitivity your circuit needs. All listed devices feature a protective polycarbonate housing, a 30 V collector-emitter maximum rating, and a −25°C to +85°C operating range.
